surrealistic entry and my pizza face #design 101/009

This is my surrealistic entry.  I was having pizza with friends and we made these cards with co-operation. I made a potrait of myself and they could freely think something that describes me while drawing. Nobody could see what other person was drawing. The result is 4 postcards about me.

I add here also other postcards we made before the final task. While warming up I set a rules for example that everyone had to think about the same person when cards were circulating to each others. Little mistake happened and 2 person took a same person and nobody took me. But as I was any way gonna ask them soon to draw about me I was surprised when one of my friends started to insist that next round they should all draw about me. That was kind of the plan anyway.

Observation Tools #design 101/007

My observation tools are like a huge  dream catcher. I live inside a dream:)

ideas:
I have analog notebooks, calendars, diary and little notebooks for just small ideas and sentences.

I have also receipt book from my mother where I collect receipts. Sometimes my guests leave also some tasty receipts for me.

stuff:
I also have shoe boxes where I collect interesting stuff as flyers and another wooden is for postcards.

money:
I have 3 DDR piggy banks.

sport:
I also track our sport activity in a little orange calendar.

images and photos:
I also love to make collages to think visual. This moment I am intrested to do so even in internet on Polyvore. Its very easy and inspring tool.

I am usually taking a lot of photos to record my experiences. I don´t have smartphone so I am not using instagram but insteed flickr, my blogs, twitter, pinterest or facebook. I also love to travel and publish my adventure pics on my blog: www.dayforadventure.com

Clown mama #design101/005

Design assignment for today was following: Make a mask representing yourself.
And then, make a second one for a friend of yours.

hmm what to do?

I made a "nose job" because I knew I would not have time to other things and this work should be  3D.

It was fun to cut one of my kitchen sponge for it and it was just enough for 2 noses..1 big and 1 small.

I was going to Mexican Toten Fest in Berlin and that is why I didint have time first.
After I finished the noses I found out my friend cancelled our date so this saddened me a bit. But then I realised I could take immediately also the pics and post my work in time to Iversity.

And so me and my friends set up a photo studio..I guess that took the most of the 1 hour time for the exercise. The hardest part was to take the pic with Romulus, the cat..he was really annoyed for a reason:) Lights were designed by djBlume and David Aguilera, Photos were made by David Aguilera

 Here is more about my messy nose job:

I needed following tools: 1kitchen sponge,  scissors, red pens, knife and a bit of duck tape for the smaller nose to keep it on.

thursday excercise part -2 Pumpkin risotto for Halloween #design101/004

This is my favorite pumpkin risotto for Halloween! Thanks to italian Giuliano who teached me this in one autumn.

The picture tells the ingredients and the order of applying them:

you need a little moose power to bring pumpkin first home

By the way this food challenge was just on Thursday that I consider a nice food day. In Berlin there is  a event called Street Food Thursday to test all kind of special food every Thursday.

Thursday exercise part 1 - Alice in Wonderland days #design101

The Cheshire Cat constantly grins and can disappear and reappear whenever it likes :)

Now we had a little coffee time because we were planning our design task. What is the better way to start the process than drink coffee. I love the designs related to coffee too.
